Here you will find the PROFIBUS GSD files for the drive system SINAMICS G120.The PROFIBUS GSD file is required to operate the SINAMICS G120 via PROFIBUS and to allow the configuration tools to recognise the inverter. Examples of configuration tools are previous and current STEP7 versions or COM PROFIBUS. Within the tools the corresponding import functions are provided.
Always use the GSD file that matches your Control Unit (CU) type or order number – even if you are currently not using all of the Control Unit functions (e.g. Safety functions). After the Control Unit firmware has been upgraded, it is then only necessary to update the GSD files if improved or new functions of the CU are to be used.
