Halocarbon 25-10M Grease is softer bodied, high viscosity PCTFE oil thickened with high molecular weight PCTFE powder. This inert oil is manufactured by a controlled polymerization process and then is stabilized to give it some very unique properties. This oil is safe, chemically inert, nonflammable, and is oxygen and chlorine compatible. It has good lubricity, high thermal stability, and low compressibility.
The thickener used in this grease, being a high molecular weight PCTFE powder, exhibits the same chemically inert and thermally stable properties of the lower molecular weight base oils. Hence, greases using this type of formulation are the most broadly compatible within Halocarbon’s lineup of greases.
